2026 Spring Clean-up

  • When: Saturday, April 11th from 9am to 11am

  • What: Light gardening/weeding and litter cleanup.

  • Where: Parking lot of Grace Community Church (Moross & Alstead)

The Moross Greenway is looking for volunteers for its annual Spring Clean-Up.

Volunteers are asked to bring their own work gloves and dress for the weather. Boots are recommended as the islands may be wet. Trash bags/buckets, trash pickers and traffic safety vests will be provided.

The volunteers will be focused on three main tasks:

    • Trash collection: Collecting litter along the seven greenway islands.

    • Light gardening: Some weeding and cutting back the grasses

    • Tools: Please bring a battery powered hedge trimmer or manual hedge trimmer if you have one, to cut back the grasses.

Interested volunteers can sign-up online at our volunteer tab above or simply gather next to Grace Community Church (21001 Moross at Alstead). Parking is available in their lot. Board members will be available to guide volunteers and answer questions.
